How can postpartum cookie dough bites help new moms boost energy and mood?

These postpartum cookie dough bits are made with chickpeas which are extremely nutritious as they are rich in iron, fiber, vitamins and other nutrients that support your body during your first 40 days.


These are easy to make and require little clean up.


Ingredients:

  • 15-oz can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

  • 1/2 cup cashew butter or nut butter of choice

  • 1/3 cup oats

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips


Directions:

  • add all ingredients except for chocolate chips to a food processor and bend until smooth.

  • mix in chocolate chips and roll into balls.

  • store in refrigerator
